About Me:
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who has 10 years experience providing support to adults who are doing their best to navigate the challenges of life. I have experience providing psychotherapy, case management and group supervision. My theoretical approach is psychodynamic and humanistic. My style is direct and relational.
My role as a clinician is to support and guide individuals navigating a variety of changes and life transitions. I use a strength-based and trauma informed framework to guide my work with clients to identify underlying strengths as a way to motivate positive and healthy change. My practice uses both restorative and recovery oriented approaches to build insight through processing unexamined harm and its impact in order to heal and ultimately thrive.
I believe that our environment shapes our relationship with ourselves and how we interact in the world. By identifying these factors we can gain a stronger understanding of ourselves which can act as a catalyst for change and discover our own resiliency. I believe that regardless of our life experience, we have the capacity for internal change.
This starts with first changing our relationship with ourselves.
